For individuals and committed couples who seek improved quality of life, Live Fully Counseling provides a secure, respectful environment that supports improvement, growth, connection and fulfillment.
We become stronger, wiser and more balanced when we find as much value in our struggles as we do in our triumphs. When we do this, we can let go of what no longer serves us and create a life that welcomes inspiration, compassion, joy and love.
Through our personal and professional experiences, we have learned that relationships create the vehicle for deep personal growth and discovery. We all seek connection with others. Paradoxically, it is through connection with an Other that provides the greatest opportunities for you to expand into your fullest Self. By developing a full self, you can connect to your partner in a mutually satisfying way.
Together, with a focus on the present, we unpack your history to help you understand your relationship patterns and their role in your personal fulfillment. Our work includes helping you recognize and understand how some of these patterns possess elements of creativity and innate wisdom. This acknowledgement will help you transform how you relate to your Self and how you connect with others.
Our therapeutic approach honors and respects you as a whole person - your physical, emotional, mental, sexual and spiritual self. In our shared time together, we help you to explore, care for and unify all parts of your Self. We support you in understanding and accepting all parts of who you are, how you think, how you want to live in the world and how you want to exist in relationship with others.
Our therapeutic interventions draw from a variety of models, including but not limited to Gestalt Therapy, the Gottman Model, the Pleasure-Oriented Model for Sexual Satisfaction, Mindfulness Practice, Yoga Education, the Real Relational Solutions Model, the Imago approach, John Bradshaw’s model for healing shame and Creative Arts Expression.
As integrative holistic practitioners, we recognize that some issues may be better served in conjunction with another discipline. If we identify a need that requires attention from another discipline, we may refer you for treatment such as medical, naturopathy, nutritional counseling, manual body manipulation, yoga classes, psychiatry or other services that can address physical and emotional needs.
